SECONDARY SCHOOL FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND TRAFFIC IN KOPER
Secondary school for mechanical engineering and traffic in Koper
was first established in September 1956 under the name School
for industrial metal-processing - Koper. The school disposes with
specially equipped classrooms for physics, chemistry, biology
and CNC-technology, process control/automation, a computer study
and several workshops.
In 1995 248 students were registered into various programmes carried
out by the school, so that the total number this year amounts
to 583 students altogether. Our aim is to make possible for each
student to choose the profession corresponding to his own interest,
prior knowledge, abilities as well as to his learning and working
habits.
Apart from the programmes as prescribed by national teaching plans,
the students specially interested in CNC-technology, process control/automation
and computer science have a possibility to attend additional classes.
